Kent Junior League – The Final

Bromley’s Juniors competed in the Top Final of the Kent Junior League and after 13 personal best performances and many strong relay swims, they finished in a very secure 3rd place for the second year running. Congratulations to all of our swimmers for another great result!

Overall point scores for the gala were:
1st – Sevenoaks A – 249 points
2nd – Thanet A – 235.5 points
3rd – Bromley – 195.5 points
4th – Beckenham – 149 points
5th – RTW Monson A – 126 points
6th – Black Lion – 101 points

At the end of the three rounds this means Bromley have finished in 3rd place in the League Overall:
1st – Sevenoaks A – 36 League Points
2nd – Thanet A – 34 League Points
3rd – Bromley – 30 League Points
4th – Beckenham – 28 League Points
5th – RTW Monson – 24 League Points
6th – Black Lion – 22 League Points

National Arena Swimming League – Round II

Bromley’s A team have broken club history after a fantastic team performance earned them Second place in round II of the National Arena Swimming League. This means the team have are now in 6th position in the league and have made it through to the Top Final for the first time ever in the club’s long history.

The Bromley B team had another solid round, finishing in 5th place and will now go into the Bottom Final as the strongest team and will be hoping to do enough to remain in Division One for next year.

Autumn Challenge Dual Meet

Well done to all of our swimmers who competed in the Autumn Challenge Dual Meet Vs Chislehurst Millennium Swim Squad. It was an exciting evening of racing which saw lots of personal best performances.

In the end Bromley were victorious, with 916 points to 823.

Inter-County National Team Championships

Congratulations to Matthew Rogers, Imogen Meers and Jack Billings for their selection to represent Kent in this year’s Inter-County Team Championships at Sheffield. Kent compete in the Top Division against 19 other Counties.


16 year-old Matthew Rogers competed in the 100m Breaststroke in the 16/17 age group, finishing in 9th place with another year left to compete in that age-group. 14 year-old Imogen Meers finished 6th in the 100m Backstroke in the 14/15 age group, again with another year to compete in that age group. Jack Billings swam two events, achieving a 13th place finish in the 100m Butterfly and 17th in the 100m Freestyle. All three swimmers achieved personal best performances in their events.

The Kent team finished in a fantastic 3rd position overall- improving on their 4th place finish in the previous year and making them the third best swimming County in the Country.
