Latest News:

Bromley Masters returned to the field this weekend at the Erith Masters meet.  Fielding a team of seven including three new athletes, the team consisted Hazel, Servane, Svatava, Gary, Fernando, Warren and Jason.  Whilst we had some strong swims throughout the day, PBs proved in short supply and could finally be counted on one hand.

Congratulations go to Servane end Svatava for their first competitions and to Warren (a returning veteran), without whom we would not have been able to compete in the 200yr + category in the relay.  Although on a recount it did appear we only actually got to 199!

We look forward now to the County championships in June where we hope to see more swimmers representing Bromley.  With the age limit 18 years on the day maybe we can tempt some of our other squad swimmers to give it a go….

Congratulations to all the swimmers who participated in the Spring
Challenge Dual Meet against CMSS on Saturday 6 May. There was a great
atmosphere best summed up by one parent: “it was great to see swimmers of
all ages so clearly enjoying taking part, so friendly with one another (and
so excited when Bromley won!)”.
Some fantastic racing and gutsy performances from our swimmers resulted in
Bromley winning the trophy. Thank you to all the parent helpers, both on the
day and those helping behind the scenes  in the organisation of the gala –
it is not possible to arrange these events for the swimmers without help
from volunteers and it is greatly appreciated. Thank you to those club
swimmers who came to support the team and help poolside. It was a real team
effort. Well done Bromley!

Results are on the Competitions/Club Galas page of the website.

IMG_7478 bAt the end of this year’s Kent Championships, Bromley have finished as the THIRD BEST TEAM IN KENT for the 2nd year running! We have also closed the gap on Second Place compared to last year, and achieved over 1000 points for the first time ever!

Our boys team managed to finish in 2nd place behind Thanet, while our girls team finished in 3rd place. We totalled 120 medals (38 Gold, 41 Silver and 41 Bronze). It’s great to see the team continuing to move forwards with more of our swimmers qualifying (and for more events) than ever before. What a great start to 2017 – well done team!
